Features: These compact and flexible vibration absorbers are used at pump connections in high-pressure systems and systems carrying aggressive media. | Compact multi-ply bellows construction. | Primarily used to eliminate vibration at pump suction and discharge connections. | Suitable for lines subject to high pressure and cavitation. | Limit rods absorb undesirable forces caused by pressure thrust and restrict axial movement; fixed anchors are therefore not required for the joint itself. | Pressure-thrust forces are contained by the limit rods, eliminating uncontrolled axial movement. | Available with swivel flanges or welding ends. | The standard series uses thin multi-ply stainless-steel bellows, providing excellent pressure and temperature capacity, noise and vibration absorption, and long cycle life. | Metal vibration absorbers solve mechanical-vibration problems and offer higher pressure and temperature capability than rubber bellows. | Unlike rubber expansion joints, stainless-steel bellows are not damaged by atmospheric exposure in outdoor installations. | Contact FAF for large-diameter, high-pressure designs.
