Features: FAF5300 seismic expansion joints absorb axial, lateral and angular movements in three axes and relieve stresses that may occur in the piping system. | Available with swivel flanges (FAF5310) or welding ends (FAF5320). | Typically installed at transition points between structures with separate foundations to protect piping against ground movement and building settlement. | Cardan joints absorb X, Y and Z-axis movement in the piping system. | Connection components are steel and the bellows are stainless steel. | Standard axial movements are 50 and 100 mm; standard lateral movements are 50, 100 and 200 mm. | Special designs are available for other movement values. | Standard pressure class is PN 16. Contact FAF for higher pressure ratings. | Cardan joints prevent damage caused by movement beyond the rated bellows capacity. | Available with grey or red industrial epoxy coating.
