Features: The hinged disc is positioned in the flow passage. | When flow starts in the designated direction, the disc pivots about its hinge axis and opens the flow passage. | When flow stops, spring force presses the disc against the EPDM seat in the body and provides 100% tight shut-off. | The short face-to-face dimension and lifting eye allow easy installation between two flanges. | Because of their large and heavy discs, conventional full-size swing check valves generally reach the fully open position only at flow velocities of about 11 ft/s. At lower velocities they may not open completely and lose stable control. | A partially open disc creates additional restriction and pressure loss, disturbs the flow and increases the risk of water hammer. | The FAF2330 is designed to overcome these problems by accelerating the medium through the valve and achieving an almost unobstructed full opening even at low differential pressure. | Manufactured with a stainless-steel swing disc. | The body can be made from cataphoretically coated carbon steel (FAF2330) or stainless steel (FAF2300). The disc is 1.4301 / AISI 304 stainless steel for both versions. | Stainless-steel body, disc and spring. | Can be installed horizontally or vertically. | Maintenance-free design. | Effective at preventing reverse leakage.
