Hydraulic Tilting Disc Check Valve

Hydraulic Tilting Disc Check Valve

Product Code: MD-VLV-0023

Features: The EPDM, NBR or VITON sealing ring can be removed and replaced easily under site conditions. | Internal and external valve surfaces are coated with 250 µm fusion-bonded epoxy; greater coating thicknesses are available on request. | The hydraulic damping system prevents slam closing and eliminates noise and water-hammer effects. | A T-section resilient sealing ring fixed around the outer diameter of the disc seats against the stainless-steel welded seat in the body and provides 100% tight shut-off. | Self-lubricating bushes reduce friction and provide low operating torque. | High impact resistance. | The disc profile is optimized for the flow direction to reduce pressure loss. | The double-shaft design minimizes pressure loss. | Shaft extensions on both sides and the counterweight arrangement permit installation in horizontal and vertical pipelines. | The disc opens according to flow velocity and moves freely with the flow. | The adjustable counterweight allows the closing characteristics to be adapted to operating conditions. | Lifting eyes and support feet maintain balance during handling and installation. | The closing speed can be adjusted according to operating conditions by means of the hydraulic damping system. | O-rings in the bearing bushes protect the disc pin bores against corrosion (dry-shaft design). | The retaining ring is fixed to the disc with socket-head screws; O-rings beneath the screws protect the disc against corrosion. | Internal and external valve surfaces are protected by an FBE coating with a minimum thickness of 250 µm. Applications: Pipelines | Water treatment plants | Pumping stations | Tanks | Seawater applications | Power plants (cooling-water pipelines) | Industrial applications Temperature: +120 °C (EPDM) | +100 °C (NBR)
