Underground Network Air Valve

Underground Network Air Valve

Product Code: MD-VLV-0071

Features: Conventional air valves on transmission mains usually require a lockable access chamber large enough for maintenance personnel. | Such chambers are generally reinforced-concrete structures with concrete or steel covers. Their size makes installation difficult in busy urban roads and narrow streets. | The underground network air valve eliminates the need for a large chamber, reduces the risk of air-related pipe failures and leakage, and provides easy, economical and fast installation. | For maintenance, the complete valve can be removed from above without shutting down the water line, excavating around the live pipeline or disturbing the system; it can then be reinstalled and returned to service. | Standard sizes are DN 50 and DN 80; DN 100 and DN 150 are available on request. | Available in installation heights of 0.75, 1.00, 1.25 and 1.50 m. The surface-box operating key must be selected to suit the installation depth. Applications: Urban distribution lines | Pump discharge lines | Pipeline high points | Points where pipeline gradient changes | At 500 m intervals on straight pipelines Temperature: +70 °C
