Features: Ductile-iron body with flanged connection according to EN 1092-2 and an easily replaceable polyethylene float. | If air is not released from a water network during operation, it can accumulate at high points, restrict flow and, in severe cases, contribute to pipeline rupture and major damage. | The single-ball air valve is mounted on a flanged branch. Air is discharged through the orifice above the float; when air release is complete, the float rises with the water level and closes the orifice to prevent leakage. | Single-ball air valves can be affected by blockage and should therefore be inspected periodically. | During pipeline filling, the valve releases accumulated air from the system. | As air is discharged and water enters the body, the float rises and seats against the sealing orifice. | When a filled pipeline is drained, air must be admitted to replace the discharged liquid. | Flexible ductile-iron body and cover with blue epoxy coating. | Available with flanged or threaded connections. | Operating pressure range: 0.2–16 bar.
