Features: Ductile-iron body with flanged connection according to EN 1092-2 and easily replaceable polyethylene floats. | If the air admitted while draining is less than the volume of discharged water, vacuum can develop and deform or collapse the pipe walls. | If air is not released during filling, displaced seals and leakage can occur; welded and mechanical joints are exposed to the same risk. | During operation, accumulated air can restrict water flow and, in severe cases, contribute to pipeline rupture and major damage. | The double-ball air valve is mounted on a flanged branch. Air is discharged through the large and small orifices above the floats; when air release is complete, the floats rise and close the orifices to prevent water leakage. | Air valves can be affected by blockage and should therefore be inspected periodically. | Ductile-iron body and cover with blue epoxy coating. | Single-orifice or double-orifice air-valve selection must be based on pipeline capacity and operating conditions. | Operating pressure range: 0.2–16 bar.
