HDTD-D: Wall-mounted shaft smoke exhaust damper. HDTD-K: Duct-mounted shaft smoke exhaust damper. The HDTD-D shaft smoke damper is used for controlled removal of smoke and toxic gases during a fire. It is installed in fire and smoke shafts inside the building. The blades are normally closed and open during a fire to exhaust smoke and toxic gases. In multi-storey buildings, the damper on the fire floor opens while the dampers on the other floors remain closed, preventing smoke from spreading to adjacent areas. • Material
• The outer casing is manufactured from 1.5 mm galvanized steel sheet. The blades are aluminium profiles or galvanized steel sheet; the mechanism and shaft are steel, and the blade bearings are brass. The unit has a parallel-blade mechanism, is suitable for motorized control and is fitted with a 20 × 20 mm wire mesh.
