Features: The Y-type strainer removes solid particles from the flow by means of a steel filter basket installed inside the body. | Filtration is performed by a mesh-lined element; the mesh size must be selected according to the smallest particle to be removed. Installation upstream of control valves is recommended. | The reinforced double-filter construction absorbs water-hammer effects and protects the filter element. | Removing the body cover allows thorough cleaning or replacement of the filter element; the cover is designed for easy maintenance access. | Filter perforation size is selected to minimize its effect on pressure loss and flow rate. | Alternative perforation sizes are available on request. | Internal and external surfaces can be coated with industrial epoxy or fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE). Specify the operating temperature and medium when ordering. | Standard filter mesh for DN 15–300: 20 mesh. | Standard filter mesh for DN 350, DN 400 and DN 500: 20 mesh. | Filter mesh size can be customized on request. | MS58 brass drain/cleaning plug enables fast and practical cleaning. | Install with the filter chamber facing downward and in the flow direction marked on the body.
