Siding Screw

Product Code: MD-CVT-0049

Siding screws are used in exterior cladding applications. They have a sharp point and an RYSB-type head. ## How to Select a Suitable Siding Screw 1. Choose a material resistant to outdoor exposure, rust and corrosion. 2. Match screw length and type to the thickness and material of the siding panel. ## Siding Screw Installation Techniques 1. **Correct screw:** Select a screw compatible with the cladding and suitable for outdoor service. 2. **Pilot hole:** Where necessary, drill small guide holes at the correct points to avoid damaging the panel. 3. **Even spacing:** Position screws at regular intervals along panel edges for balanced appearance and retention. 4. **Tightening:** Tighten sufficiently to secure the panel without crushing or cracking it; keep the head flush with the surface. 5. **Expansion and contraction:** Allow for movement caused by temperature changes and avoid leaving the joint excessively tight or loose.
