Features: The FAF6500 PN 10/16 knife gate valve operates by moving the knife-edged gate perpendicular to the flow through multiple turns of the threaded operating stem. | The knife-edged gate closes the flow passage and provides 100% tight shut-off by means of EPDM rubber seals. | Can be manufactured for unidirectional or bidirectional service. | Can be manufactured for wafer or lug mounting. | The knife edge can cut through fibrous media, making the valve suitable for wastewater and paper-industry applications. | The sealing element can be replaced on the line for easy maintenance. | The body can be manufactured from grey cast iron or ductile iron. | The gate can be manufactured from stainless-steel grades 304, 304L, 316 or 316L. | Automatic control can be provided by fitting a pneumatic cylinder or multi-turn electric actuator. Applications: Fibrous media, wastewater, hot water, cold water, and non-acidic/non-alkaline fluids Temperature: +50 °C (NBR)
