A DIN 6921 flange bolt has an integrated washer-like bearing surface beneath the head. The wide flange distributes clamping force over a larger area, reducing the risk of surface damage and improving load distribution. Install with a suitable spanner or socket and tighten clockwise. Controlled torque is required because excessive tightening can damage the parts.
