HIGK: Ceiling-mounted heat recovery unit. Ceiling-mounted heat recovery units are designed to provide high indoor air quality while reducing energy consumption. A plate heat exchanger transfers heat between the fresh-air and exhaust-air streams, recovering part of the energy that would otherwise be lost through ventilation. High-conductivity aluminium plate heat exchangers provide efficient heat transfer between warm and cold air streams. The units deliver energy-efficient fresh air to workplaces, banks, offices, hotels, homes, cinemas, exhibition areas, hospitals, multipurpose halls, restaurants and similar spaces with high ventilation requirements. Nine standard models are available for airflow rates from 500 to 4000 m³/h. Their low-profile construction is suitable for installation above suspended ceilings and is designed for easy installation and maintenance. Room Panel and Controller: Provides manual or automatic control of electric-heater stages and fan speeds. Duct Heater: An electric or hot-water duct heater can be installed at the supply-air outlet to provide additional heat in cold climates. It can also be installed at the fresh-air intake as a preheater to protect the heat exchanger against freezing.

• Material
• The double-skin structural casing is manufactured from 1.00 mm galvanized steel sheet and includes 35 mm internal acoustic insulation. Quiet, direct-drive, single-phase 230 V plug fans suitable for speed control are used. Heat-exchanger efficiency is 45–60%.
