Features: The FAF3590 butterfly valve with supervisory switch is installed with its shaft perpendicular to the pipeline. Its quarter-turn (90°) disc provides 100% tight shut-off in both flow directions; the EPDM-coated disc seals by pressing against the inner wall of the valve body. | The double-shaft design minimizes pressure loss. | The valve has a wafer-type flanged connection and a molded EPDM seat that eliminates the need for flange gaskets. | The valve position can be monitored remotely from the control panel through an electrical circuit, preventing damage that could occur if the valve remains closed during a fire. | The valve can be operated at low torque through the fitted gearbox. | Can be used as an isolation valve or zone-control valve. | Internal and external surfaces are coated with a minimum 250 µm fusion-bonded epoxy. | UL and FM approvals are available.
