Features: The valve is manufactured from brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, by hot forming and precision CNC machining. | FAF brass valves are manufactured from MS58 brass and provide high strength and impact resistance at low temperatures. | Designed for in-line pipeline installation; its primary function is to open or close flow in distribution systems. | Recommended for fully open or fully closed service. Operation in a partially open position may damage or dislodge the seats under pressure. | During installation, protect the valve body from excessive heat and avoid tools or procedures that could damage the seats or thread seal. | Sizes DN 15–50 are manufactured for PN 25; sizes DN 65–100 are manufactured for PN 16. | Complies with the values specified in TSE 13547-B3. | The allowable working pressure decreases as temperature increases. Contact FAF for the temperature limits of the sealing materials. | The pipe thread engagement length must be shorter than the threaded length in the valve body.
