Beam Clamp

Product Code: MD-CVT-0073

A beam clamp grips the edge of a channel or profile between fixed and movable jaws. It is used for electrical and HVAC ducts, sprinkler and plumbing pipes, lighting and similar suspension systems. ## Operating Principle - The fixed jaw bears on one side of the profile. - The movable or screw section applies clamping force from the opposite side. - The lower connection receives threaded rod, a pipe clamp or another hanger. - No hole is required in the supporting profile. ## Installation 1. Select a clamp suited to profile thickness and load. 2. Seat it fully on the profile edge. 3. Tighten the clamping screw in a controlled manner. 4. Fit the threaded rod or hanger to the lower connection. 5. Check seating and tightness before loading. ## Selection Criteria - Material and corrosion resistance - Profile thickness and jaw opening - Applied load and safety factor - Threaded connection size - Vibration and environmental conditions
