HSWD-A: Adjustable swirl diffuser with circular blades and a square face plate. HSWD-B: Adjustable swirl diffuser with square blades and a square face plate. HSWD-C: Adjustable swirl diffuser with circular blades and a circular face plate. HSWD-D: Adjustable swirl diffuser with eccentrically arranged circular blades and a square face plate. HSWD swirl diffusers are suitable for spaces requiring high airflow rates and ceiling heights of 2.5–4 m. They distribute conditioned air uniformly by creating a high-induction swirling pattern, or can be used for extract air. Adjustable plastic blades are fitted to a square or circular face plate. The blades can be set manually for horizontal or vertical discharge. Because the free area between the blades remains constant, blade adjustment has little effect on pressure loss or sound level. Suitable for suspended-ceiling and plenum-box installation.
